Atlanta-based Dance Teacher & Choreographer
Monica has been teaching, creating, and mentoring young dancers for 15+ years. Her teaching philosophy is cultivating artists by working with all levels of dancers in a welcoming and encouraging environment. Monica is a dance educator for Fulton County Schools and teaches dance classes all throughout the city of Atlanta.
“I was very inspired by the contemporary dance genre but was never trained in it. I loved the storytelling and emotion that it evoked. I am not a highly thetechnical dancer but I’ve always been a natural performer. Contemporary dance is highly technical with about 20% of the emotion. I created E’Mote to be 80% of emotion and expression for dancers of all levels who love that aspect of contemporary dance. I’m able to teach E’Mote to kids and adults!”

What is E’Mote?
“When I take E’Mote, I feel like I can be honest about my emotions, let go and be vulnerable. I feel free when I’m in E’Mote.”
